On Friday, March 21, a special lucha libre event organized by the Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) will take place at Arena México, promising to be spectacular. One of the main matches will be the showdown between Místico and Máscara Dorada against Komander and Hologram in a fight that will undoubtedly captivate the audience.
Additionally, Los Hermanos Chávez, Ángel de Oro and Niebla Roja will defend the CMLL World Tag Team Championship against Volador Jr. and Rocky Romero, in an attempt to maintain their historic reign in this exciting duel.
In another title fight, Taya Valkyrie and Lady Frost will face Lluvia and La Jarochita for the CMLL World Women’s Tag Team Championship, after having overcome two elimination rounds. Other highlighted contests include a one-on-one match between Titán from Los Ingobernables de Japón and Templario from the United Empire, as well as the confrontation between Las Bestias del Diablo and the Fuerza Tapatía.
The event will also pay tribute to two legends of lucha libre, with a tag match featuring a suicide finish, where Esfinge and El Valiente will face Zandokan Jr. and Star Jr. The winning team of this match will be forced to compete in a mask vs. mask fight to end their prolonged rivalry.
Additionally, the Sky Team will return to action to represent the CMLL against figures from All Elite Wrestling, promising a night full of excitement and surprises. During the event, there will be a recognition of Don Salvador Lutteroth González and Mr. Salvador Lutteroth Camou, honoring their legacy and contribution to lucha libre, with the latter celebrating his 100th birthday.
